Our school has been a registered American Okinawan Karate Association school for over 30 years. The AOKA is the first and only Isshinryu organization recognized by our styles founder, Tatsuo Shimabuku. The AOKA is a member based organization that supports all Isshinryu Karate and is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for it's members, schools and instructors. Each year our students are encouraged to support the AOKA World Championships. Through participation in this tournament our students are exposed to the best of the best Isshinryu has to offer in competition and instruction. AOKA membership benefits include:
- Discounts on AOKA sponsored events.
- At our annual World Championships AOKA members participate in up to four seminars at no cost.
- Registered AOKA schools can receive event insurance at little or no cost with properly submitted application.
- AOKA members receive a 10% discount through Enterprise Car Rental.
